Hand Fuction Recovery Training to Cognitive Therapeutic Exercise With Incomplets SCI

Abstract
Objective: This study examines the effect of the recovery of the hand function by carrying out cognitive therapeutic exercises on the incomplete spinal cord injury patients.

Methods : This study is that of 1 incomplete spinal cord injury patient, and cognitive therapeutic exercise for the recovery of the hand function was carried out. Training on recognizing the position of the elbow and hand (using the shoulder joint as the basis) and training on recognizing the movement and senses of the fingers through images were applied. For functional evaluation, SCIM, BBT, Grooved Test was conducted and for cognitive therapeutic exercise evaluation, CTE profile was conducted. Before and after intervention, the score of the functional evaluation and the change in CTE profile were compared.

Results: After intervention. SCIM, BBT. Grooved Test which are functional evaluations, all showed enhancement and CTE profile which is a cognitive therapeutic exercise, also showed improved aspects.

Conclusion : As the conclusion of this study, the possibility of applying cognitive therapeutic exercise to incomplete spinal cord injury patients was confirmed.
